With over 20 years of experience across the Adriatic’s luxury and urban hotel landscape, Vlatka brings a leadership approach shaped by operational precision, destination identity, and modern guest expectations. As General Manager of Hotel Jadran within Jadran Hoteli Rijeka, she is leading the transformation of a coastal landmark into Croatia’s first Tribute Portfolio hotel. In the pre-opening phase, she is developing the hotel’s operational and service structure, aligning Marriott’s distinctive premium standards with a character-driven Adriatic experience, the needs of tomorrow’s traveller and the shift toward new operational and experiential hospitality models.
Her earlier career spans organisational transitions and cultural evolution, including nearly a decade guiding Grand Hotel Bonavia under Plava Laguna and later within Jadran Hoteli Rijeka. Prior roles across sales, MICE and commercial functions in Adriatic Luxury Hotels, supported by experience in international congress organisation and agency operations, shaped the integrated, cross-functional perspective she brings to the industry. She holds a BSc in hospitality from RIT, an MSc in international economics and further specialisation in revenue management from the Universities of Rijeka and Ljubljana.
