Kristian has over 25 years of leadership experience in tourism and hospitality, with a strong track record of guiding hotel companies through intensive development and transformation. He has held key executive roles in organizations that have not only adapted to industry changes but have actively shaped them—setting national trends, driving innovation, and leading high-impact development projects. Throughout his career, Kristian has consistently raised standards, steered destinations through strategic transitions, and introduced forward-looking concepts to enhance quality. The demanding nature of his professional environment has often required him to successfully manage multiple roles simultaneously.
Following a successful career at Adriatic Luxury Hotels, he served as CEO of Maistra d.d., part of the Adris Group—Croatia’s largest investor in the tourism sector. He then became CEO of Dubrovnik Riviera Hotels and a Board Member at HUP-Zagreb. From 2018 to 2023, he was CDO and Board Member at Uniline Travel Company, one of the leading destination management firms in Southeast Europe. He is currently CEO and Board Member at Jadran hoteli Rijeka, the leading hotel group in the Rijeka region. Kristian has been actively engaged in national tourism institutions, including serving as a Council Member and later as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Croatian National Tourist Board. From December 2009 to April 2016, he was President of the Association of Employers in Croatia, a national hoteliers’ association. Since 2011, he has also served as a lecturer at VERN’ University, a role he continues to hold today.
