My name is Leonardo Buzov Vulas and I am hospitality professional with the academic background in, both tourism management and communications & PR.
My first job after the graduation was a supervisory position at the front office of an upscale resort Le Meridien Lav, Split where I also gained my first experience in event sales.
I continued my hotel sales & marketing adventure with the recognized hotel chains Radisson Blu in both Split and Dubrovnik as well as Mamaison Hotels & Residences, a small luxury chain of boutique hotels and residences with the headquarter in Prague and InterContinental Prague, one of the most famous hotels in the central Europe.
Being at the position of international sales manager was one of the most beneficial and valuable experiences which gave me the opportunity to sharpen my proactive sales skills, get to know all the key players in the travel industry around the world as well as to visit numerous international destinations.
For more than 3 years I worked as Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing for Sheraton Dubrovnik Riviera Hotel as well as other 4 properties which are part of Dubrovnik Riviera Hotel group owned by one of the largest and fastest growing Croatian hotel companies, Maistra. At the same time, I worked as par-time teacher of tourism management at the RIT Croatia.
In the year of pandemic, I decided to do a career switch and accepted a new challenge with the fastest growing e-commerce retail company in Croatia, Bazzar.hr, where I managed customer care department also working on several corporate projects including the launch of new online shopping platform on the market of Serbia.
After almost two years of professional exploration I finally returned to what drives me the most, the hospitality business. Joining Mövenpick Zagreb team and Accor family as Director of Sales & Marketing I opened a new chapter in my career and am truly excited about all upcoming years.
