Currently Head of Performance Reporting and Insight, for InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) covering 1,000+ properties across Europe, Middle East and Asia. In the last 3 years, implemented a new approach to making data core to delivering exceptional operational hotel performance at IHG. Clear focus on turning large complex sources of data into actionable insight for owners and hotel operators to deliver a great guest experience.
Passionate about making data useful at all levels of an organisation, by using software that easy to use and understand. Focus on bringing data of different types and sources together to give a rounded view of performance. To enable this, IHG have moved from a traditional model of tables of data to interactive dashboards to quickly determine where action needs to be taken.
Previously worked for Carnival Cruise and British Airways, where I led revenue management analytics, articulating to the business likely revenue performance. Prior to spending my last 10 years in travel and hospitality, I built my analytical experience within the health care industry.
I have a degree in Applied Statistics with Management Science from Plymouth University. When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, travelling the world, running and playing golf.
