Heribert Scheikl

My heart has been beating for the hospitality industry for more than two decades already. During this time, I have gained various experience on my professional journey in this beautiful industry.

The first ten years of my professional journey were spent in the international high-end catering sector, where I was responsible for the planning and execution of events for prestigious clients such as Formula 1 and UEFA Sports Events but also actively involved in human resources. In this role, I created a talented and professional workforce by leading recruitment, training and staff planning.

Later, I took on the role of a Branch Manager at a renowned restaurant in Vienna. This opportunity allowed me to deepen my leadership skills and understanding of the culinary world while successfully managing the day-to-day operations.

Following this exciting period, I moved to Vienna House, where I worked eight years in the HR field. Here I focused on the Employee Life Circle, building training programs, and recruiting. My work helped to strengthen employee development and satisfaction within the hotel group and attracting top talents to the organization.

Since September 2022, I joined the HR-Group as Corporate Director for HR & Training. I’m responsible for a total of 45 hotels across ten different countries, as well as the Corporate Office in Vienna. This challenging role requires a deep understanding of the diverse needs of the hospitality industry and comprehensive expertise in the field of human resources.
