Director of Hotel Operations at Terme Sveti Martin

My hospitality path began in high school when I decided that I want to work in Tourism. As I wanted to expand my knowledge, I decided to study in Rijeka at the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Managment but after gratuation I returned to my hometown Čakovec. I saw a lot of potential for development of tourism in my county so I decided to send application to the only Thermal and Spa resort in Međimurje – Terme Sveti Martin. After a couple of years of working as a Front Office Receptionist, in 2020 I got the opportunity to be the Front Desk Manager. After challenging ”Covid” year, I got promoted and started a new position as a Rooms Division Manager where I was managing over 40 employees in departments Front Office and Housekeeping. This year, I turned to new challenges and since April I have been on the position of Director of Hotel Operations, where I have the opportunity to lead operations in one of the leading resorts in continental Croatia.
